Same with me Mushrooms. I havent done any drugs besides pot if you even want to consider that a drug. Have friends that have done coke, acid, shrooms, X, and unfortunately heroin also. I just never wanted to try it because I was to scared going in to it that I would like have a heart attack or some shit. I have seen people on bad trips and it does not look like fun at all. But mushrooms does look like a fuckin great time. When its all said and done though im completely happy with weed and alcohol. I get fucked up enough as it is with those 2 things that I dont get the urge really to try other things...

Tried - coke, speed, pot, shrooms, GHB and a ton of ecstasy. Also tried something else but I don't quite know what it was.
Don't like coke and refuse to do it. I have seen it f*k up way too many people, not in the sense that they OD, but in the sense that it takes control of them and it becomes a priority. FIgure if I never do it again, I don't run that risk. I will never forget the two commercials from when I was a kid, for some reason they actually got their point across to me. First one was a wall street type guy in the bathroom walking in circles saying "I do coke so I can work more so I can make more money so I can do more coke so I can work more..." and the other was a guy doing coke and as he was snorting it the coke started turning into money, then household shit, then his wife's stuff then finally his kid's tricycle. Never forget those commercials.
Didn't like coke anyway, don't particularly like pot either, love shrooms and E. First few times you try E are the best feelings, just undescribeable.

yeah, although more commonly referred to as Oxycontin. I suppose I have actually tried it since I had it for pain and once I was done needing it I would pop one when I couldn't sleep. But I am referring to trying it in the recreational sense. It is really addictive from what I understand, similar to heroin addiction.
My friend's, friend's husband got addicted to it, ruined his business, spent all of his and his wife's money and got so far in debt that he smuggled Mexicans across the border to get out of debt (he was pulled over while doing it and charged pushing them further into debt). Really bad. There was an article in SI a few years ago about Jeff Allison (P, drafted really high draft pick about 5 or 6 years ago, from MA) who got addicted to it and blew his career. He was a wreck, as bad, maybe worse than Josh Hamilton.
very true bankerc.. used to work in a pharmacy.. Oxycontin comes in varying doses and used to be handed out quite regularly for pain.. it is kept locked in a safe and I believe is a schedule 1 federally controlled substance.. some consider it more potent then street grade heroin and actually cook and shoot it.
